As the horrible spectre of war is once again showing its ugly face in our continent and so many lives are lost while innocent civilians are enduring despicable sufferings, we feel the need to unite the voice of our professionals with those who call and work for an immediate end of the bloodshed!
Professions of healthcare, law, number, and compass are natural supporters, warrantors, and custodians of Human Rights, democratically organised societies, and the rule of law. At this moment when the barbarism of war seems to prevail, our thoughts go to our colleagues who are struggling for these principles in Ukraine, and to all those afflicted by the hostilities. We stand with them in our hearts!
