The transnational seminars organised thanks to SD4EU aim to discuss ways of reinforcing social dialogue as a cornerstone for promoting gender equality and more balanced working conditions. The discussions in Athlone, underlined that work-life balance cannot follow a “one-size-fits-all” model and must be addressed through gender-sensitive solutions that recognise unpaid care work and support equal participation of women and men in professional and private life across Europe.
