As you all know, the 4th of this month of December, CEPLIS hosted a Workshop aiming at identifying the priorities of our membership in the three years to come. The event, and our General Assembly meeting that took place the following day were held in the historical premises of the Club of the Belgian University Foundation.
The Workshop was a great opportunity for our members to touch base, discuss, and draft the agenda of CEPLIS was moderated by Professor Benoit Rihoux of the Catholic University of Louvain (UCLouvain), who guided participants through a fruitful and productive discussion.
The end-of-year General Assembly Meeting was an opportunity to take stock of the work of CEPLIS in the months since our last General Assembly Meeting, and to further discuss the coming year’s tasks. Of note Mr Steven Engels, Head of the Unit in charge of Skills and Qualifications, from the European Commission’s DG EMPL joined us to inform us on the future steps regarding mutual recognition of qualifications and skills within the EU.
